We aren't your average sales ladies!

Owner operators Linda Lewis and Kristin Saunders-Falla take a lot of pride in assisting our brides and grooms in finding their perfect dress or tuxedo. We pride ourselves on our customer service and the personal relationships we develop with our brides and grooms. We have created a relaxed atmosphere where our brides can feel comfortable and have a very personal wedding gown experience. We work by appointments so we can ensure the highest level of customer service, but won't refuse a walk in either. We are not the average sales ladies, we are the owners who take a lot of pride in the quality of fabric and craftsmanship that our chosen designers put into our gowns and tuxedos.

Maine SBDC Helps Small Business Succeed                      Spring 2009

Two new jobs were created when Linda Lewis and Kristin Saunders-Falla successfully launched their wedding and event planning business, Midcoast Maine's only one-stop bridal shop. To do so, they approached Maine Small Business Development Centers to help them put together their financial proposal. Their parking plan seemed sold with good research to identify their opportunity and justify their strategy. Certified business counselor Brad Swanson, from the Maine SBDC service center at CEI, helped them with cash flow projections, focusing on pricing, and the timing of receipts and disbursements. Several different locations were considered and the financial impact of each was run through their projections. With an affordable, well-located retail site identity, the women obtained a bank loan, bought inventory, fixtures and furnishings, marketing materials and start-up advertising. Linda and Kristin recently celebrated their first anniversary in business, and they are looking forward to many more successful years to come.
